Dell makes $3 million from Twitter

Dell seems to have broken through the glass ceiling of social media, successfully turning it into a business tool that directly drove profit for the computer maker.

Here’s a vlog Dell posted on YouTube last summer when they passed the half-million-dollar mark in profit – simply by using Twitter. The conversation gives you an idea as to the thought process Dell’s people went through to optimize Twitter’s effectiveness as a profit-generating opportunity.
